The Head of Department for Mechanical Engineering at TUAS, Ari, is a great cross country skier and brought us all, in groups of 3, to a local ski tunnel. Here he taught us two different styles of cross country skiing, classic and freestyle. The course was 700m and at the start took us quite a while to get around it.
We were all quite wobbly at the start but by the end we were starting to get the hang of it! We preferred different styles of skiing but all managed to get around the course a few times by the end of our lesson. Thank you Ari for teaching us, we all loved it!
